Synopsis

  • Manage operations create and delete of the resource Users External Servers Aaa Attribute V1.

  • Add or update the custom AAA attribute for external authentication. Note that if you decide not to set the custom AAA attribute, a default AAA attribute will be used for authentication based on the protocol supported by your server. For TACACS servers it will be "cisco-av-pair" and for RADIUS servers it will be "Cisco-AVPair".

  • Delete the custom AAA attribute that was added. Note that by deleting the AAA attribute, a default AAA attribute will be used for authentication based on the protocol supported by your server. For TACACS servers it will be "cisco-av-pair" and for RADIUS servers it will be "Cisco-AVPair".

This module has a corresponding action plugin.

Requirements

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

  • catalystcentersdk >= 2.3.7.9

  • python >= 3.5

boolean

Flag for Cisco CATALYST Center SDK to enable debugging.

The Cisco CATALYST Center hostname.

The Cisco CATALYST Center password to authenticate.

_username

aliases: user

string

The Cisco CATALYST Center username to authenticate.

Default: :ansible-option-default:`"admin"`

_verify

boolean

Flag to enable or disable SSL certificate verification.

Choices:

_version

string

Informs the SDK which version of Cisco CATALYST Center to use.

Default: :ansible-option-default:`"2.3.7.6"`

attributeName

string

Name of the custom AAA attribute.

validate_response_schema

boolean

Flag for Cisco CATALYST Center SDK to enable the validation of request bodies against a JSON schema.

  • SDK Method used are user_and_roles.UserandRoles.add_and_update_aaa_attribute_api_v1, user_and_roles.UserandRoles.delete_aaa_attribute_api_v1,

  • Paths used are post /dna/system/api/v1/users/external-servers/aaa-attribute, delete /dna/system/api/v1/users/external-servers/aaa-attribute,

  • Does not support check_mode

  • The plugin runs on the control node and does not use any ansible connection plugins, but instead the embedded connection manager from Cisco CATALYST SDK

  • The parameters starting with catalystCenter_ are used by the Cisco CATALYST Python SDK to establish the connection
