Synopsis

  • Get all Flow Analysis Packet Capture Supported Devices.

  • Returns devices that support wired packet capture functional capability.

This module has a corresponding action plugin.

Requirements

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

  • catalystcentersdk >= 3.2.3.0.0

  • python >= 3.12

Flag to enable or disable SSL certificate verification.

Informs the SDK which version of Cisco Catalyst Center to use.

Default: :ansible-option-default:`"3.1.6.0"`

Limit query parameter. The number of records to show for this page.

offset

Offset query parameter. The first record to show for this page; the first record is numbered 1.

order

string

Order query parameter. Whether ascending or descending order should be used to sort the response.

siteHierarchyId

string

SiteHierarchyId query parameter. The full hierarchy breakdown of the site tree in id form starting from Global site UUID and ending with the specific site UUID. (Ex. `globalUuid/areaUuid/buildingUuid/floorUuid`) This value can be obtained from the responses of APIs like `/dna/intent/api/v1/sites` or `intent/api/v1/areas/${id}` or `/dna/intent/api/v2/floors/${id}` or `dna/intent/api/v2/buildings/${id}` Examples `?siteHierarchyId=globalUuid/areaUuid/buildingUuid/floorUuid`.

sortBy

string

SortBy query parameter. A property within the response to sort by.

validate_response_schema

boolean

Flag for Cisco Catalyst Center SDK to enable the validation of request bodies against a JSON schema.

Note

  • SDK Method used are devices.Devices.fetches_devices_that_support_wired_packet_capture_functional_capability,

  • Paths used are get /dna/intent/api/v1/flowAnalysis/packetCapture/supportedDevices,

  • Supports check_mode

  • The plugin runs on the control node and does not use any ansible connection plugins,

  • but instead uses the embedded connection manager from Cisco CATALYST SDK

  • Requires Python >= 3.10, matching the controller Python versions supported by the collection's minimum ansible-core version (see the collection README for the current ansible-core / Python compatibility range)
