Synopsis

  • Manage operation create of the resource Iot Fabric Pen Upgrade Configuration Models Network Devices Config. - > This API generates the configuration for specific network device for a given EN to PEN upgrade configuration model using `previewActivityId` and `networkDeviceId`.

Informs the SDK which version of Cisco Catalyst Center to use.

Default: :ansible-option-default:`"3.1.6.0"`

networkDeviceId

string

NetworkDeviceId path parameter. Identifier of the network device which is the extended node. It is the `id` attribute in the response of API - `/dna/intent/api/v1/networkDevices`.

previewActivityId

string

PreviewActivityId path parameter. The unique identifier for the activity. It can be retrieved by following the steps mentioned in Response Details section of POST API - `/dna/intent/api/v1/fabric/penUpgrade/configurationModels`.

validate_response_schema

Flag for Cisco Catalyst Center SDK to enable the validation of request bodies against a JSON schema.

Note

  • SDK Method used are industrial_configuration.IndustrialConfiguration.generate_the_config_of_network_device_for_en_to_pen_upgrade_configuration_model,

  • Paths used are post /dna/intent/api/v1/iot/fabric/penUpgrade/configurationModels/{previewActivityId}/networkDevices/{networkDeviceId}/config,

  • Does not support check_mode

  • The plugin runs on the control node and does not use any ansible connection plugins,

  • but instead uses the embedded connection manager from Cisco CATALYST SDK

  • Requires Python >= 3.10, matching the controller Python versions supported by the collection's minimum ansible-core version (see the collection README for the current ansible-core / Python compatibility range)
